About Ben Stoll - Script Executive and Story Editor
Ben Stoll is a UK-based script consultant and story producer with over 20 years’ experience in television and film. He has worked as Head of Development in the Channel 4 Drama commissioning team, Story Producer on BBC One’s Boiling Point and Script Producer on Sky’s Domina. He offers script coverage, screenplay mentoring and masterclasses through his consultancy, Scene by Scene.

I am a UK-based script consultant and story producer with deep experience across all drama genres and formats. I have a strong understanding of the UK television market and international co-production, including time spent in Munich with StudioCanal-owned Tandem TV. Throughout my career, I’ve guided multiple projects from script to screen and helped develop emerging writers.
As Head of Development in the Channel 4 Drama commissioning team, I oversaw hit series such as SKINS and SHAMELESS, as well as new dramas including RUN, THE FEAR, and YOUNGERS. I also managed Channel 4’s wider drama slate and led the channel’s acclaimed new-talent strand Coming Up, supporting the next generation of screenwriters.
During my time at Tandem, I played a key role in greenlighting the company’s first Canal+ drama series, SPOTLESS, assembling the writing team and maintaining editorial oversight throughout development and production.
Most recently, I served as Story Producer on the BBC series BOILING POINT, based on the award-winning feature film, and as Script Producer on Series 2 of the historical drama DOMINA for MGM+ and Sky.
I am also the co-founder of Colliderscope, a production venture developing English-language dramas for the international market.
